Drawing on the psychological concept of unconscious loyalty, I explore the psychological mechanisms behind these persistent behaviors and to offer insights into how unconscious loyalty serves as a hidden barrier to social change and development. This psychological framework provides a new lens through which we can understand the challenges of cultural and social stagnation, to encourage more thoughtful efforts toward growth, innovation, and reform.
